Please join us for Self-Care for Entrepreneurs & Changemakers on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 11:00am–1:00pm, at Impact HUB Oakland. This workshop details how compassion fatigue can separate us from our mission. Participants will learn the techniques necessary to remain motivated and create a healthy foundation for themselves and their business.
Uptima Presents Daisy Ozim, founder of Resilient Wellness, a health cooperative designed to advocate for the advancement of holistic health, provide services and health education to the community at large. Daisy has been involved in community based outreach and advocacy and civic youth engagement, since her late teens. As a seasoned health advocate, she’s a fierce proponent of health and wellness as well as decolonizing all aspects of the public sector. Daisy has studied and obtained degree’s in Human Biology and Behavioral and Social Sciences as well as Public Health. On top of that, she has dedicated time outside of her advocacy life to train in holistic health.
