Are you doing what you love? Are you working towards your passion and purpose? If you are thinking about starting your own business or are seeking to learn from and network with other like-minded, service-oriented entrepreneurs you will not want to miss this inspirational panel. Hear from three amazing Bay Area womxn of color, Shumsha Hanif-Cruz, Esq. (SHC Law), Lilly Ayers (Queen Hippie Gypsy), and Anna Villalobos (Oeste Bar & Cafe) who followed their passion and successfully built their brand and business through persistence, hard work, and a supportive community. Challenges and setbacks come with the territory especially for womxn of color.

In a study on women-owned businesses, it was found that the gap is widening between the average revenue for businesses owned by women of color and those owned by non-minority women. Let’s work together to change the narrative. Come with an open mind and heart to listen to the panelists’ journey in entrepreneurship, what they learned along the way, and how they stayed true to who they are despite the obstacles.Leilani_SIS_CIRCLE_Final_Multicolor
