ARTIST TALK: Tony Concep | TrapArt: Brooklyn Learned, Oakland Earned

No one would deny Concep’s aka Tony Brown aka Tony Concep’s innovative style and charasmatic career in visual and movement arts deemed “TrapArt.” This creative will speak on Design, Paint, Dance and Spirit and his movement from New Orleans, to South Carolina to NYC to the Bay. The added goodie of a Demo Prezi is promised as well! Join him and cultural strategist Ashara Ekundayo for a colorful Artist Talk – cocktails included.

Tony Concep, is a street artist who is known for incorporating pop-culture icons into his work. His identity and work has been described as a renaissance ideal of the polymath artist. New Orleans-born and bred his journey in pursuit of intertwining his passion for visual arts, design, and dance led him to Brooklyn where he began to lay the foundation to his visionary empire. Now residing in the Bay Area he joins Oakland’s brilliant art scene with a collection of classic multi-media pieces as well as rocking some paint straight onto the walls of Omi Gallery.
