The Youth Hub Fellowship Program is a year-long social entrepreneurship training and co-working program which includes:

o 4 months of social enterprise training to develop a business model strategy

o Professional mentorship and access to co-working space and office amenities

o The May 16 pitch event

o 7 months of follow up coaching, training and networking events

Youth Impact Hub Oakland is a multi-sector collaboration between Impact Hub Oakland & United Roots designed to scale internationally at more than 90 global Impact Hub sites. The Fellowship stems from over 30 years of collective youth development experience, which informs our belief that youth, especially those most impacted by social inequity, are best positioned to develop meaningful and lasting solutions to the challenges facing their communities.

The 5th Annual People’s Pitch Event is held in memory of aManda Greene, co-founder and co-director of Youth Impact Hub Oakland. aManda created the Youth Impact Hub program model as her final project in her sustainable business MBA program in 2013.
